A little moment of calm before my new book comes out very soon. On the 10th May to be exact. So, I thought I’d take a moment to explain a little about it.

It started off as a little bit of back story about two of my characters Tyla and Faric, the titular Lyrat Pair. It was meant to explain how they came to abandon their people to aid Wist.

Pretty soon, I ended up researching Hitler’s speeches and the rise of fascism. Funny how things turn out. I ended up adapting them and using portions of them in my text.  I’d like to think its a warning about blindly following any idea/cause.
