Hi Goodreads!

Hi Goodreads! I decided to start a blog! So here we go! Greetings! I've got one book up on Goodreads (Managed Mischief: A Toolkit of Improv-Inspired Games, which if you're seeing this, I guess you know already? It's a book with simple and delightful creative improv-style theater and writing and art games to play with kids, and also some background on how to teach and play them to get the most out of them. Great for parents, teachers, coaches, camp counselors, and anyone who may not be a trained improvisor but wants to delight themselves while having fun with friends. Check it out!

Meanwhile, I'm working on a new writing project this summer and also hoping that I can procrastinate on one project with the other one, since they're incredibly different from each other: one is a series of short plays, and the other one is children's/young-adult fiction that may also become a series. Wish me luck!

In reading news, I just read "Lincoln in the Bardo, which was amazing. I recently described George Saunders to someone "as if Roald Dahl was trying to write Ray Bradbury?" and I think that's fairly apt. The book also reminded me of Moby Dick, which I also loved and thought was hilarious. Postmodern, part "play," part collection of secondary sources... weird and wonderful and funny and devastatingly sad. I recommend!
