So, I'll be honest, I've been struggling a lot with my writing!

As an author, I think I can be as guilty as anyone of falling for the sunk cost falacy, and that's kind of where I've gotten with what I've been working on lately. It started as something really ambitious, and I thought that I had something that was engaging and really fun, but the more I worked on it, the less I started to enjoy it. As I fought with it, I kept telling myself that I was just worrying. Eventually, working on it got to be a slog...

And that's when I realized that it was time to stop.

I write because it's enjoyable, and the more I worked on this story, the less I was enjoying writing.

Maybe it's good. Maybe it's better than I think it is, but right now, it's time to stop.

I filed it away with some of the other work that I've put together... and then I got an idea.

Many of you come here and read the stuff I write. Some of you write me and chat with me. The more that I thought about it, the more I realized I had a good opportunity.

So here's what I'm going to do, and it's a first.
