Hello winter time! This past season has flown by. I've been traveling for book events and wonderful book presentations with children in libraries and in school assemblies. It's the hands-on, fully present time with this 'little' audience that is truly rewarding. In the young Kindergarten classes, the students are still thinking in abstract ways and I hear the funniest, zaniest comments and questions. My favorite this past month? After reading my book, My Community, we discussed various community members, their jobs, what our own interests are, etc. One child raised her hand with a question: "Do some people eat cat food?" Hahahaha! On that note, I'll leave you to ponder some of our society's biggest mysteries. Hope you have lots of good books bedside or on your Kindle for cozy-warm winter reading!
