Hi Laurie, You have an option to Be My Friend on Goodreads in the giveaway, but there doesn't seem to be an option to allow me to add you as a friend. It lets me follow you as an author, which I am. How exactly does one be your friend on goodreads? Thanks Dianne

Dianne,I think I made that a clear as mud. So sorry. First, thank you for following me and my reviews. A person can either follow reviews or be a friend, not both, according to Goodreads, so for the sake of the rafflecopter giveaway, either counts.
Thank you for your support, and for reaching out!
Laurie
Hi Laurie, It's not something I would have considered that it had to be either or but if that's the way it's programmed then I guess it is one or the other. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated :)
Like Diane, I followed. Interesting it does that! After I accepted another author as a friend on Facebook, I was notified that I could no longer do reviews because they might be biased. So while I am “working” with Amazon to correct this issue, it’s nice that one sight makes you choose either/or! I’ve also heard that amazon has blocked readers from reviewing if they’ve won a prize such as a gift card....naughty of them! Because I will forever enter contests and do my reviews on Barnes & Noble, Book Bub, and Goodreads!
Actually I heard amazon bought goodreads.com so I'm not surprised. I don't have my goodreads and amazon accounts linked and I am not allowed to post reviews on amazon anyway because I don't purchase using a credit card and even if I did I imagine they would find another reason to stop me posting reviews. My experience of them is that they are mainly about putting up roadblocks for everyone rather than promoting transparency and responsible/ethical business rules.
