Since I published the first book in the Lucky Vegas series in January I have had the great fortune of seeing my books purchased by readers other than my family. I’ve received lovely reviews, kind feedback, and even excitement about the next book. This is the culmination of a life-long dream for me and I feel so fortunate. Thank you to everyone who has made reaching my goal possible, especially my readers.
I’m working hard on book three from the Lucky Vegas universe. The title of this one is Safe Places and it features everyone’s favorite police detective Derek Evans, or as Dani and Paige call him, Double D. This isn’t the story I started out writing. I have the first nine chapters of a beautiful romance between Isabella, owner of Sogni d’Oro jewelry shop, and a hawt FBI agent named Kincaid. I was typing away, coming up on a big plot twist, when my screen went black. Totally black. I may have freaked out a little. I may also have neglected to save my latest work anywhere other than my computer. After my meltdown, I regrouped and took this disaster as a sign that Sierra’s story should come first. And here I am in the middle of Sierra and Derek.
Lots of exciting things planned for the future. Safe Places will be out in October and Isabella and Kincaids book, Cold Pieces, is coming in February of 2019. I’m also looking at attending a couple of book conventions in the coming year. I hope you’ll follow with me as we fall in love in Vegas.
