Righteous Defender

Book 2 of the Michael Ayers series was released last year and has been slowly picking up steam. In Righteous Defender we are introduced to Ryan Du Bois, an attorney who is quickly growing tired of the legal system until he encounters the client that makes him want to fight again. Hid client, Evan Reynolds is accused of the worst crime a father could commit and seem prepared to accept his punishment, but something just below the surface won't allow Ryan to go with the flow on this one. He can't identify the problem on his own, so he goes to Michael, the city's most famous defense attorney for help. Only now, Michael has returned to defending high powered clients and has no time for Ryan or Evan. Thankfully, there's one member of Ayers & Ayers who still has a heart.
Righteous Defender takes us behind the desk of the legal system to give us an inside glance at the lives of defense attorneys and the situations that distract them during trial proceedings. It's very easy to trash talk attorneys, but if you ever find yourself in serious legal trouble, you'll want a Righteous Defender!
