Woah. I received my first round of edits back from my editor. Lots of work left to do! I envision it will take me about three weeks to implement these changes, which will align nicely with feedback from my beta cycle.

Give another 2-3 weeks for line edits and finalization, and I should be good to go in September. Then comes the choice: Develop a solid query letter and spend months trying to get accepted for publishing, or develop a cover and marketing plan and go self-published.
