Just recently

I’m amused 

that

I have opportunities

which were not opportunities before

which appeared to be road blocks

obstacles to be knocked

out of the way

off with their heads

But now

somehow

what once was

is

no longer

and so I am faced

with the challenge 

to reinvent myself

in order to meet the challenge

that I never knew

existed
