This summer has been all about the writing and we are so excited that Crossed Paths is almost ready to release! Of course we have been working on some secret projects too, but we are holding on to these for just a little bit longer. With all our mini me’s off school over summer it’s been tricky finding time to do anything other than mummy duties BUT we did manage an AMAZING trip to Oxford. 

We were lucky enough to meet a ton of awe inspiring authors at FBBF 2018, a UK based signing. It was fab being able to catch up with all the authors we have built relationships with since we began our publishing journey. A highlight for us was hugging Laura Farr who we collaborated with on  Christmas Kisses anthology last Christmas. Her cowboy romances are to die for and our signed copies are now pride of place on our bookshelf.

Our fave new discovery was Nana Malone who is just so sassy and fabulous you can’t not read her books! But our unicorn author this year was Tillie Cole. OMG that woman is serious female boss goals. She was so sweet and at the same time the ultimate badass and her Hangman Series will live with us forever! 

Our favourite moment was meeting some of our readers! Yep, you read that right, we have real life, actual humans who have read and loved our book enough to buy it ask us to sign it for them. We had to keep pinching ourselves to check we weren’t dreaming. It’s definitely given us the push we needed to apply for some signings ourselves so keep your fingers crossed for us and we might be seeing you at a signing very soon…

As Oxford is so close to The Cotswolds, where our debut novel, Crossed Forces was set, we couldn’t resist a trip. It was surreal to visit the actual village of Bourton-on-the-Water, also known as the Venice of England and take pictures in the exact spot where we have based so many of our scenes. It’s an absolutely stunning place and we literally had to force ourselves to leave when it was home time.
