Hi all!

I hope I didn't spook anyone. I promise, I'm still alive and quite well... well, sort of. My apologies if anyone out there was worried about my well-being. I won't lie: the intervening time has been more difficult than I ever could have anticipated, for many different reasons. There's no need to get into the nitty-gritty, but I think it's safe to say I needed to take a long break from writing, social media, and the world at large. I needed to recalibrate and keep myself from falling into despair. Thankfully, with the help of my sister and a morbidly obese Boston Terrier, I'm doing much better now.

My only regret is that I fell out of contact with so many of the friends I've made through this pseudonym. It kills me that I didn't have forewarned everyone that I was taking some much needed me-time before vanishing in a puff of smoke. It was rude and irresponsible. So again... I apologize. Life can be difficult, yes, but that's no reason to skedaddle without a trace.

I don't know when (or if?) I'll get back to writing erotica. I have three unfinished manuscripts still kicking around on my hard drive (one of which was supposed to be novel-length) and am currently working on a children's book for my niece (which, uh, I'll probably publish under a different name). I also kinda want to start writing reviews again and maybe dabble in some new subgenres. If it's not obvious, I don't write these smutty little books because I want to make tons of money (although that would be nice -- inconceivable, but nice), but because I just like writing. It's fun... and when it stops being fun, it's just not worth it. So we'll see.

In the meantime, please know that I'm doing okay.
