So I know not everyone likes the same stuff and we have to put our big girl panties on when someone gives a negative review.
So as a fair warning, Clary, the MC, is 16 and her boys are 16, 18 and 20.
They engage in sexual activity and some underage drinking is going on.
However, I want to highlight that there is a lot of talk of safe sex, of being considerate about each other’s feelings and needs, of slowing down if one is uncomfortable with a situation.
I would be happy for my teenage daughter to read this because safe sex is described as the only way to go.
Also, one of the characters tells the others about being sexually assaulted, it’s told in as mild as possible terms but if that’s a trigger for anyone, simply don’t read the book.
I don’t want to offend anyone but always remember this is a made up story, a work of art and should be treated as such.
