I'm delighted to say that my new project Diagonal Walking is now in full swing. There's more detail on my website: www.diagonalwalking.co.uk but basically, I spent the summer of 2018 (the hottest on record - phew!) walking, yes, that's walking, down a line drawn at 45 degrees NW to SE through the very centre of England. Needless to say, there's going to be a book in it, and this is now finished in first draft. More revisions to come, obviously, but I'm now speaking with publishers, with the aim being to bring the book out in the summer of next year (2019).

Check out the website, as there's much more to the project than a long walk by an old git. One of the things I'm trying to do is to lift the lid on the whole writing process, getting people involved in the project at its beginning, middle and end (if it ever does end).
