Paranormal EROTIC Anthology short story contest
Here we are again! Yet ANOTHER contest! But isnt this fun? I am super excited to be able to do these for all of you and to be able to help you publish something. As I've said before - even if you are already published - the more you get your name out there and the more work to show off (especially short work since most humans typically have a short attention span) the more fans you will get and what does that mean? A better chance at making this your career instead of just a hobby or something you've been fighting with for years. ;) We are ALL in that boat - so lets try to row it together and see where we end up huh?
Without further delay - here are the rules and submission guidelines for the Erotic short story contest.
1. All submissions must be 5,000 to 8,000 words in length.
2. All submissions must be sent to the fan page email (theeternalseries@hotmail.com).
3. The DEADLINE for all submissions is December 31, 2011.
Setting Rules
1. This is a PARANORMAL EROTIC short story contest. That means
A: It MUST contain one or more of the following: Vamps, Weres, Demons, Ghosts, Goblins, Faeries, etc.
B: It MUST be EROTIC. That means - bring on the HOTTNESS. No "romance" stories. Just get down and dirty
Ex: Vampire goes to a secluded bar, seduces a woman into going for a walk in the woods with him, he bites her and pins her to a tree and has his way with her and gives her the ride of her life. LOL! That kind of thing!
2. There is nothing off limits - M/M, F/F, M/F, threesomes, whatever. It's all good. Just make it tasteful and of course - NO rape.
3. Since this is going to be released for the Valentines Day holiday - It should be Spring in setting. Blossoming flowers and leaves returning to the trees. Whatever way you want to write it. This way your setting is crisp and sharp and you can hear and smell things while reading. The more sensations thrown into writing the better! Yes - I realize (at least where I'm from) Valentines Day is in Winter. lol. But we used winter for the Horror Anthology and I think Spring brings on sexy. ;)
Payment Info
1. Everyone who is chosen will receive A physical copy as well as an E-copy of the book as payment.
2. Those who are chosen will ALSO receive a discount code they can use to order copies of the book at a discounted price that is close to publication costs. This will benefit those who have other publications out and is planning on using them for book signings and things of that nature.
These are the only rules I can think of at the moment. I will amend them if I think something else is needed. Happy Writing and I hope everyone who can will definitely participate! :D
