So, MALEVOLENT is out on Netflix and it’s been a crazy experience getting to read everyone’s thoughts!

This is definitely new for me. I’m grateful for everyone who’s watching and reading – whether they liked it or not! Countless people worked on this film and were a part of the process, and it was lovely getting to collaborate with so many talented souls. A dream come true.

It’s also been surreal having a story I wrote out there in the world in such a public way. When you start writing something, you never really know what it will turn into – you could be the only one who ever knows about it, or you could share it with your family, friends, and colleagues and see what they think… or it could live beyond them in an online space, a theatrical space, outer space… and on and on. You just never know. The fact that Netflix picked this film up and it’s available to more than 120 million people (or however many subscribers they have) is nuts!

All the feelings, man. All. The. Feelings. There’s lots to learn – everything’s a learning experience, am I right? – and I’m looking forward to seeing what tomorrow will bring. Onward!
