We watched the Greatest Showman this weekend and let me tell you, it was awesome! The music, the story, Hugh Jackman....😍😍. There was a section of the first song that really struck me. When I heard it, I thought, "Yes!! That's exactly how I feel... about my writing." Here is the line,

"And buried in your bones there's an ache that you can't ignore
Taking your breath, stealing your mind
And all that was real is left behind" The Greatest Showman

Wow. How often I've felt that ache to put pen to paper, to get the ideas out. It's all consuming, stealing your mind, and depending how deeply you fall into your characters lives, the lines between reality and fiction blur. I encourage you to listen to the song. Hell, watch the movie. And as you do, know there are many out there that write, create characters and worlds, because it is what we were meant to do. It is a passion, a love, that is all consuming....all the time!
