Hello! It’s been a long time since I updated my blog posts here, but what better reason to finally do so than to share the news that my new novel, THE LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER’S DAUGHTER, is out now across the globe!!

I’m so thrilled that after publication in Ireland in September, the book is spending its fourth week in the Irish Times bestsellers chart, and is now also on sale across North America. I’ve been blown away by the response to the book so far, and hope readers will continue to enjoy stepping back in time and stepping into the lighthouse with Grace and Matilda.

Suzanne Read this book; loved it; recommended it to a friend.

Linda Cameron A wonderful story, a wonderful book!

Rochelle Holt Superb romance. The heroine is devoted to her work of running the lighthouse. She sacrifices love and marriage for this passion.

Joanne I absolutely loved this book--the feelings in it, the plot structure, the characters, the scenery. I had no idea it was based on a real story until I was curious to look up the direction of the boat travel on the east coast of England. I especially loved the understanding that George came to of being grateful to have known and loved her and respect her needs to stay with her family and the sea: "It must be enough then to have spent time with her, to have fallen quietly in love with her without the promise of anything more....His feeling for her transcends anything so impermanent." (p.375)

Rochelle Holt I felt the exact same way. A perfectly feminist and humanist novel.

Patricia Maccaro I loved this story, so beautifully written. It transported me and brought tears too. A wonderful read to take you out of covid doldrums.
