TLC. Nov 12
So I bought a used car that had a few issues with it. And while I was sitting at the mechanic, I thought of the owner who had this car last and how this car now ended up in my hands.
It brought me to this realization: if you can't take care of it, you can't have it.
If you can't dedicate time for your spouse, you can't have a great marriage. If you won't give attention to your kids, you won't have them in your life. If you don't take care of your house, you cannot collect on its value. If you don't handle your finances responsibly, you won't be debt free.
The failures or successes in your life may depend on how much you are investing into it.
So I pay the mechanic and my car is all good to go. It's been acting fine ever since. My car's previous owner wasn't able to keep and drive this car and gave it up.
What blessings do you have now that you are just "giving up" without working for it or fighting for it? Are you leading your current blessings somewhere else, away from you, to someone who can take care of it better? What are you not putting in your time, your energy, your focus, your love... that you should be? What are you neglecting to take care of?
Stop the blame. Take responsibility for your actions and decisions, Decide what you really want to have and to hold, to keep and to cherish, and don't let any expensive price-tag of your finances, your energy, your love and your time keep you from having (and keeping!) what is truly yours!
If you need prayer for anything, let me know. I would love to pray for you!
