Hope everyone had a nice holiday however you celebrate. If you don't celebrate, hope you at least got a four day weekend. For me, it's back to the grind tomorrow.

I finished chapter four of the second book in the Leah Allyne Princess of Veldure triology and while I'm super happy, I'm also kicking myself. Somewhere along the way, I don't really know when (maybe at self imposed deadlines or with self imposed pressure to perform, etc.) I lost sight of the focus: writing is not linear. Lol. If I write chapter 15 before I write chapter 3 then it's okay; I just have to find a way to make it fit. And, news flash Jessica, just because you are not sitting at the computer writing doesn't mean you're not writing, you know?! I have a notebook where I pen ideas, shape characters, draw symbols...all types of stuff that help with the creative process, thus writing the book!
