Since I live in California, we're blessed with free libraries whose catalogs of books, DVD's, classes and computers is unrivaled. Locally we are given access to Kanopy and Hoopla as well. Since our state's orientation is to improve the ecological environment I've always felt that buying books is counterproductive since paper is made from trees, one of the most important resources in the Universe
