So a while back I illustrated a wonderful short story that lived inside another story... (Russian doll style) for an author friend.
I was inspired and wondered if perhaps I could do something similar with my book Sour Fruit. As well as my main character's struggle to survive she tells three stories about the city, (Kingston) and the people trapped inside it. This is what I came up with...
