I don’t know about you, but I love when authors include pets in their stories. The animals can add comedic relief as well as a safe place for the main character to curl up and cry or recoup after a traumatic scene. Some authors plan entire series with an animal theme such as Pet Sitter series, dog breeders, or Cat who series, This is my short list of My Top 10 Reads With Pets!
