Despite what you may see in the news, there is progress toward defeating climate change in many local areas and regions. We already have all the inventions we need to solve the problem scientifically, economically, culturally; although more new refinements to these are coming fast, and making me even more optimistic that we can fix this if we try. Contrary to some reports, there is a huge amount of evidence from scientists, economists and other experts showing that clean energy will not wreck the economy or our society. It offers numerous benefits to individuals and organizations. Although I'm encouraged about the many good directions we are taking, I worry about the insufficient momentum. We need more clean building systems, more electric vehicles and more wind/solar/electricity storage/smart grid. We need to change faster!
