Hi everyone!
Welcome to my first blog post! I am really excited to be back on Goodreads, and happy that over the last year, I've had a chance to refocus the direction of my authoring and how I would like to evolve in what I release as an author. Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be an author. I use to make little books with tape or glue, and draw my little book covers. I would enter poem, essay and writing contests through grade school. However, in my early adulthood, I became deeply enthralled in Business and Entrepreneurship. And over the years, that has been great, both challenging and rewarding, even with it's ups and downs. But as some of you all may or may not know, in 2014, I was the subject of a very public situation that provoked me into writing my first book. At that time, my main objective was, to get my point across, to get my side out there and clear my name. And like everything that's ever been done out of "impulse" by any one of us in life, we know it never conveys the way you expect, or intend. And it certainly wasn't the intro as a published author that I would have ever foreseen for myself. But it's the past, it's behind me now, and I'm looking forward to sharing some new stuff with you all from "Emerald The Author", that I have been working on. I have also learned that I enjoy writing non-fiction, as much as I enjoy reading it, so you can definitely expect to see more non-fiction from me in the near future. I look forward to connecting with fellow authors and fellow readers, checking out the groups that I belong to, checking out some new groups, and reading some great books.
