My newest book, , becomes available March 26th: https://www.blfpress.com/penny-mickel... is my 13th book...but it is the first book of my short stories to be published and I'm really excited about it. I stopped writing short stories many years ago because I was all about the novel. Then I was all about the stage play. Then I remembered that I once wrote short stories almost exclusively and I was fortunate enough to be found by a publisher who loves short stories in general--and mine especially. So...if you've forgiven me for the contradiction at the top of this post, please prepare for another one in a couple of months. It will resemble this one quite a bit as the numbers "2" and "14" figure prominently. Many of you will remember , my first novel of historical fiction. Writing it was a pleasure and I knew I'd write another novel of historical fiction. I just didn't know it would take so long. So look for #2 in May--I'll update here.
