Sadness has hit hard. Our 12 year old dog had to be put to sleep Monday due to a tumor in her brain. Badge of the Waxing Moon is near completion, which has been a hilarious journey so far. With the unexpected death, it's been hard to find the energy to think up funny material for the book, but we've plodded along nonetheless. In doing so, it has really helped and been therapeutic for me in dealing with such sadness. I don't know if writing funny things would help everyone dealing with a loss, but for me it has helped. Sorry for a depressing blog, but that's what's going on right now. On a lighter note, we are kicking around an idea for a new book, (different from the Badge Of series), and we are excited for April 1st for the Whodunnit Summit to start!
