Thinking Straight

I have read somewhere that humans are taught not to think straight. Well, straight thinking means thinking clearly and logically. Today I have shared some of the chapters of my book with a friend and he answered that you have written here in an informational way, in a straight manner but that's not what I like. Well, he is a crime novel enthusiast and I know what type of writing goes into that and how great it feels to read through those books. But that time I also thought maybe we are not thinking the straight majority of times. I thought maybe climate change is an issue that we are not thinking straightly.

And I was right. We are not taking climate change seriously most of the times. This is not a dream I suppose and it is a real thing. We are experiencing it. There was a cyclone that struck Odisha in India here recently. These all are effects of climate change and in a few years, the floods and disasters are expected to be tripled.

I saw this image yesterday

The hunting grounds of polar bears have disappeared and most importantly there is plastic around that block of ice. This shows we have surrounded our environment with all our deeds.

We are running and running not knowing when to stop. We are producing hundreds of millions of tons of plastic every year, we produce a lot of fumes and release it in the environment. We need these things for our comfort but now we are drowning in these dust clouds and plastics.

Imagine a situation where there is a fire in your house and you point this out to your father and he says concentrate on your math homework. Well I know about this as I am a student. This is the exact same situation, our earth is melting and some people mostly adults as far as I have seen are ignoring these effects. Again because we are not thinking straight. We need to think straight urgently in the favor of environment and most importantly act. I follow so many methods by which one can ensure less emission of waste and energy. I will share it in next post.

Thanks for reading.
