The last few Mother’s Days have made it damn-near mandatory that you Instagram a couple of pics of Ole Ma in tribute.  The whole feed is overtaken for a couple of days with nothing but Mom Pix.  

It’s kind of fun to see everyone’s weird old moms.  I think I like it best when there is a picture of some friend of mine as a kid with their young mom, then a comparison pic of them all grown-up with their old mom - just so you can see the weird way genetics work.

In a few weeks when Father’s Day rolls around, we’ll all get to see the Ole Dad pix too.  I find it a little disturbing that my current fresh style will someday look like a weird Old Dad picture on my daughter’s feed someday.  Right?
