Looking forward to reading this book, as I have all of yours. So glad you wrote it in that ninety year old spy's honor!

Great to hear from you, Kim! Thank you so much for your message! Yes, she really was quite a character. I hope you enjoy the book!
Thank you so much, Anne! I hope you enjoy it. Do keep in touch and let me know which character you like the best.
Congratulations on the publication of your second book. I have been eagerly awaiting for its release since February, now my copy is finally on its way, woo hoo!
Mrs. Underwood is a delightful woman by your account, what a privilege to spend time with such a person, a link to such history especially when there are fewer remaining, it is important that we hear their story and contributions to the war effort. Thank you for introducing Mrs. Underwood to us, it makes Betty Braithwaite's story that much richer. I hope the achievement of this novel far exceeds your expectation.

Thank you so much for getting in touch, Ruth! Mrs. Underwood was such a wonderful woman, and I hope to honor her and the other female spies of World War Two in The Spies of Shilling Lane. I hope you love reading the book as much as I loved writing it. Please keep in touch and let me know what you thought of it.

Thanks for getting in touch, Cheryl! I really hope you enjoy it! It's a terrific summer read, if you're heading anywhere sunny--or even a comfy chair outside on a sunny late afternoon. Let me know how you like it!Jennifer
I also loved your first book, and my copy of this one is on its way as we speak. I'm going to put some time aside to read this, and I hope they make an audiobook as well. The audiobook of The Chilbury Ladies Choir" was excellent! Congratulations on the publication of your new book.
An absolutely delightful read. I couldn't put it down. Without a doubt, my favorite character was Phyllis Braithwaite. I am hoping that this is the first in a series of adventures for Mrs. Braithwaite and Mr. Norris!
