I’m excited to share my new book, Beyond Calamity with you. Beyond Calamity is the story of my life journey, contracting polio at 4 years of age in South Sudan and surviving that, growing up in refugee camps in Uganda, and growing up and overcoming the challenges I experienced as a girl and as a woman with a disability in the South Sudanese Community. Beyond Calamity also details the challenges I experience on a daily basis as a woman and as a single mother with a disability.
