Deep down, Claire knew his evasiveness didn’t involve another woman. Martin had slipped up twice with the same woman in the past, but neither time had it been his fault. Wanda Jean, a witch with incredible powers had wanted him to father her child. What Wanda Jean desired, she got. She’d beguiled Martin and bedded him. Last time, Martin had thought her dead. Not knowing Wanda Jean had played a devilish trick on him, he’d succumbed to her charms.
