I owe everyone an apology who has purchased one (or more) of my books through Amazon in the past 4 months. It has recently come to my attention that Amazon has been very eager to take your money, yet drag their feet in sending you the book.

This, unfortunately, is a poor reflection on me as the author. And for that I apologize. I did some experimenting with different purchases and have experienced it first hand. Unless you have Prime, Amazon makes little to no effort to even acknowledge that the purchase was made. This hurts me, as the author, not just personally (because it prevents loyal fans from enjoying my stories), but professionally, because no book that was bought in the last 30+ days have I received a commission for. Amazon's record keeping format is such that I can (usually) see when a book is purchased, and what commission is due to me at the end of the month.

Well... I've had multiple people tell me that they purchased my book, yet that purchase was NOT reported to me, nor did they compensate me. In other words, either deliberately, or through a flawed website system, Amazon is making a buck off of my hard work, and not paying me, and not sending you your product.

This is 100% NOT acceptable. Until further notice, I will no longer be encouraging customers to purchase anything with the Evan Yarema name from Amazon (because that would EMBARRASS me). My works are readily available through Barnesandnoble.com.

Again, I sincerely apologize for this, but this isn't okay. If you've had this problem with them, please let me know the details-- the title and dates that your purchases were made.

*SIgh*, everything is such a losing battle anymore these days.
