I have just finished Rescue Me and I am head over heels in love with it. It was a labor of love and I was terrified when I first started it. After writing Release Me, I didn't want to leave those characters so diving back in was amazing. It was also scary because I had set a bar in my own mind.
I do write for myself. I write what I want to read and create a world that I truly enjoy being in. They are so perfect and complex in my mind and I don't ever feel that I do them justice on the page.
As soon as I finished this story I was sad and was already thinking about starting the next one. haha
