What’s that I hear you say? Never ever pre-order? Oh don’t be silly, dear reader, that’s just for videogames, books don’t have micro-transactions. They’re clean, wholesome and the electronic type doesn’t even have paper to cut your fingers on.

What do you get for pre-ordering you ask? Ehm… my thanks? There’s neither a catch nor a bonus really for buyers, but each pre-order will help to push the book positively upwards in Amazon’s algorithm on the day of release.

In other news, for the (mainly Dutch) people interested in getting the book off Bol.com, it may not arrive *exactly* on the 14th, but should be close nonetheless. There’s also the bad news that it won’t be a fancy hardcover book as promised. Simply put, 40 bucks (to start, and with me taking 0% cut) for a hardcover book is just something nobody should ever spend on a book (says the guy collecting rare tabletop RPGs). Production costs are way too high and I want to share my work with as many people as possible. So there’s still going to be a release, but it’s going to be a nifty and slick paperback.

Next one, I’ll do a hardcover!
