I realize it’s been awhile since I’ve blogged. Life has taken a lot of unexpected turns in the last few years. We built a house, adopted another Labrador, moved, been laid off, started a new job, survived my husband’s heart attack, depression, loss, and anxiety. I got my rights back from my publisher. I learned a lot about love and life and failure. And, while it’s been hard, it’s also deepened my love an connection to the written word that I can’t regret.
