THE BITTERROOTS Debuts at #2 on the NYT Bestsellers List

We’re pleased to announce that THE BITTERROOTS debuted at #2 on the combined hardcover and ebooks list for fiction on August 25 in the New York Times. It garnered #3 for hardcover fiction. The novel also debuted in the top five for the Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly, and USA Today.

THE BITTERROOTS was the second C.J. Box novel to debut at #2 in the NYT in 2019.

Jean Adkins i, too, love his books. his descriptions of the environment make me swoon. he can set up a feeling of dread so effortlessly (to me). and his bad guys are contemptible. then there is his mother-in-law....
