A Silence Exists

A silence exists
            behind the world
to be broken by
            crashes I never

experienced before.

The silent sounds fade
            away from me now,
replaced by a hum,
            an electric note

burning beneath my brain.

Thoughts encounter you
            here. They unveil
a buzzing voice deep
            underneath the tones

I expect to receive.

Music thumps through my
            mind, remolds my skull
around the shape of noise
            still unexperience...
