What am I doing?

The day-to-day of a reclusive twenty-one-year-old debuting author isn't very profound. But, since it might interest some to know what I've been up to, here it is!

Being how recently published my first (and latest book) is, it goes without saying my most important energies are being put toward getting it out to the world! But, Of Truth and War was something I've worked on for a long long time, since I was seventeen, so it's fair to say I've had loads of ideas churning in my head as I worked on it. Ideas for new writings, musings, poems, creative expressions, etc.

Because of that, I already know my next novel and, while I focus my efforts on building myself up as a budding author, I've already begun working on it!

Though still untitled, it is pretty well planned out already. It follows the very familiar trope of a Magic Academy in the modern day. But its themes are a bit more contemporary and explore more seriously than perhaps Of Truth and War does, the topics of politics, love, and youth. The goal is to channel my own age (still a youth by my elders' standards, still an adult by most youths' standards) to get a fair account of things from both landscapes of age. Because, let's face it, with the time it takes to write these things for most authors, I'll be much older when I'm done writing! Ha ha ha.

In actuality I write pretty quickly and am lucky not to be boggled down by by as many responsibilities as others might be, so I think it'll be done drafting in a few months.

Cheers!
