Huh... Hi?

Wait, there are blogs on Goodreads?!

Hello there! Nice to meet you. Name's Ed!

And I love exclamation points! Really!!1!

So, I'll use this space for updates on release dates and stuff.

I'm almost done writing Unbound Deathlord 3, and the editor is already doing his thing.

If the stars align well, I'll release it on December. If not, probably January. If I don't release it by January, something terrible will have happened, so trust that deadline but also pray for me.

Hyyyyype!

Well, there are no release dates as of yet, so...

I kinda realized I suck at ETAs, so I'll just shut up and announce dates when I have the book ready to be released.

Rasmus Lomholt Ah, fair enough.

I realise I came off more dickish than I meant to. (I blame the fact I grew up with Brits whom mercilessly drilled into me their very dry form of insult humor).

I enjoyed your books very much, they're a bit of fresh air. However, I've also waited for like a year on the next book, when i found this page I simply thought it was dead since it seems theres not a huge amount of places one can find info on this series from.

So, i put something snarky as a way to put the last nail in the coffin that contained my hope for the next book.

The book is coming, I promise you that. Definited within the next months. I'm sorry for the delay.

Rasmus Lomholt Ah, dont apologise, its not like I have any stake in your book, I didnt pay for you to create it like a sponsor/publisher would. You apologising just makes me come off as an entitled twat xD

I disagree a bit.

There's nothing wrong with you enjoying something and wanting to have more of that. You weren't pushy at any moment. Moreover, I *did* give out a wrong ETA, so I should apologize for giving people false hope.

While I don't understand it very well, I know some people *really, really* enjoy my books, to the point of reading it/listening to it multiple times.

Telling them the release date is close and then pushing it back is not cool on my part.

So, yeah, I'm *****, but since I'm making you uncomfortable, I'll just shut up and stop saying so to you =P ^^

You arent making me uncomfortable, dont worry. I'm not American, I dont need safespaces and being cuddled in conversations to feel safe. (Yes, I do know not every American are like that.. However, it is also true that a worrying about of people from America wants to be cuddled and spoken to like they have nothing bad to criticise in them, hell. Saw someone on Twitter claiming they had gained PDST from Twitter...)

And about people enjoying your books, I do enjoy them, I've listened to them a few times, I tend to reread old books once in a while when I can find no new books that catch me me like my current collection does. Its mostly because I enjoy the white noise as I travel, play games or work. Listening to a book I've read a long time ago allows me to suddenly focus on the book without going "Wait.. Why does that character suddenly have a nun-chuck made out of buttocks?".

Anyway, I'll look forward to your next book. Just dont do a Dakota Krout and just suddenly switch up your narrator, I've lost all interest in listening to any future books from him since the new narrator he found, while good in other books hes done, just does not fit the books, its like the bloke didnt even bother researching the work of the voice actor that did the job before he took over. Dude changed accents and voices of all the characters, leaving long time fans going "Wait, whos speaking? Why does this character suddenly sound British?".

So yeah, at the same time Dakota Krout told us he was going to be a full time writer, he also changed the voice actor that did the last 4 books in the series, claiming the voice actor was too busy (Though before that he said they had "creative differences", personally, I just believe Dakota tried to get the voice actor to lower his rates now that hes a full time writer, and the voice actor said ".. Well, its nice you're a full time writer, but I still need to be paid the full amount so I can continue being a voice actor" and Dakota wouldnt do that.)

Sorry.. Tangent,

TL:DR,
You didnt make me uncomfortable, looking forward to the next book, Dakota Krout fucked up when he switched voice actors.

I don't want to change voice actors, Jeff Hays is amazing. That being said, the audiobook publishing company I signed with is the one who makes the last call.

They are usually nice about it and they took my input into account to decide on Jeff (there were a couple of others guys IIRC that I didn't like). So, I'm hoping they will keep Jeff Hays.

Jeff might have other ideas, but from what I understand (I'm not 100% sure), he's on board the Unbound Deathlord wagon to the end.

So, we don't *really* need to worry about it ^^

Rasmus Lomholt I dont think you have to worry about Jeff Hays, all you need to worry about is his love of those damn background noises he sometimes uses, its gotten a lot better, but I still remember when he first started using them, I think it was during a War aeternus book where the background noises literally drowned out the voice acting. It made me want to return the book instantly, but I stuck with it, and it did get better after a while.

However, I recently listened to the new Dungeon Lord book (Which is a really fucking good series incase you need something to listen to), and during one part, they added in the background sounds of clanking mine carts or something akin to that, and the sharp noises, even though in the background gave me a splitting headache.

So yeah, if they do ask for input during the recording, please give the book a listen to to make sure Jeff and his gang didnt go nuts with the sounds, they do add a bit to the story, but more often than nought the noises can be a bit much.

Anyway, I'm surprised with how much attention you've given my blathering, hopefully with this much activity in here the Google search engine might manage to grab onto some of the words in the comments and bring some more people to your books.

Just incase, I'll put some searchable terms:
Hot cars, fast women, Queen Elizabeth, Burger, Hotdog, Books, good books, active author.

There, that should do it.

Okay, thanks for the tags and for the tip. I'll do that.

Have a nice one! =D
