Starting something new

I'm working a new book. It's set in fantasy world where several nineteenth century communities are trapped by an expansive forest controlled by wild magic and dangerous mythological creatures. Like Glass Lands, there is a kidnapping and rescue. Only in this story, there are two protagonists, a thirteen year old girl named Willow whose parents were exiled for practicing magic and a boy named Griff who wants to protect her from the magic that courses naturally through her veins.

I'm curious to find out more about these two kids because all I have so far are sketches. If they resist my planned story as Gerald, AJ, and Sally did, this should be a lot of fun.

I might even blog-for-real so anyone just interested in starting their own novels could see how much things change over the long time it takes to invent a world.
