After I watched one of my favorite cooking shows, The Kitchen, this weekend and heard what the preview for next's week so is, I got to wondering....have you ever called a cooking holiday hotline?

I know Butterball (I believe) used to have hotline open on Thanksgiving and Christmas to help cooks with questions on the preparation of their birds.

I have never phoned a cooking hotline. One Thanksgiving, my turkey wasn't cooking, but it was my oven, not my roasting skills. HA!

So tell me, have you ever called a hotline? Worked the switchboard of the hotline? If so, were you busy?
