Almost The New Year
This is my first blog post here at Goodreads and I really, really, really hope to be able to consistently update this.
2011 has almost come to an end, which means that 2012 is about to begin. Technically speaking January 1st is just another day that follows the one before it. We do tend, at times, to look at the number flipping by on the calendar as a "new beginning" but this new year for me will not be an opportunity to "turn over a new leaf" or "start anew".
No, in 2012 I hope to continue down the path that I started in 2011.
This year I published my first novel, Dark Matter Heart. I followed that up by publishing EUROPA, a sci-fi horror novel I co-wrote under the pseudonym "Nicholas Faraday". I also wrote and published 2 horror short stories under the Faraday Name
I also wrote the sequel to DARK MATTER HEART, FROM OUT OF CHAOS" which is currently in the final proofreading stage and should be out mid-January, kicking off the New Year right!
2012 should prove to be more productive than 2011. As I mentioned I will be releasing FROM OUT OF CHAOS. I'll also be publishing the novelization of my horror film HUNTING SEASON (under the Faraday name) hopefully before march (in time for the MonsterMania horror convention where I will have a table. Then I'll conclude the DARK MATTER HEART trilogy by the end of the year. I'd like to be able to put out one more new book and some short stories and will hopefully be able to collaborate with Shandy Lawson on something great.
Basically, 2011 was busy, I hope 2012 will be even busier. Thanks for stopping by.
