This series has taken up a large part of my life--5 years almost--and through the research I did on the various mythologies, deities, and languages, it's really expanded my view of the world as a whole. Book one starts out small--humans and shapeshifters and their endless war. Book two gets more into the spiritual side of things--telepathy, reincarnation, love transcending lifetimes. And book three ... well, sometimes I just want to teleport into it and live in a world where magic is real and spirits fight alongside each other for the sake of our precious planet.
