[image error]I’m particularly proud of two articles I’ve published this fall: The first, called “The Femme Fatale: Subverting and Complicating a Noir Trope” for CrimeReads, was about the way the TV shows Sharp Objects and The Sinner overturn the misogynistic femme fatale archetype in fascinating ways. The second, titled “In an Era of Fake News, Fiction May Save Us” for Lambda Literary, was about how LGBTQ people have a history of weathering fake news, and how fiction may have the power to restore that damage.
