Books Make for Good Company in the Winter

This post will be my first one in 2012 to my famous blog, CRACKED REAREVIEW MIRROR. The topic, of course, will be on books and reading. I finally got one of those no-frills Kindle, and I'm now in the digital age. Just in the nick of time, too, since winter has us in its cold grips. I don't know if I read more or faster in the winter, but it's the season I most closely associate with books. Right now I'm making ready to dive into V IS FOR VENGEANCE by one of my favorite PI writers, Sue Grafton. Last year I read 125 books for leisure, and, for the most part, enjoyed every one of them. I very seldom give a book a bad mark. It's just a DNF and on to the next book for me.

Happy reading to you in 2012!
