Latest Updates

Hello, it's been a while since I've updated on here.

I've been very busy, running multiple projects simultaneously (in addition to changing day jobs and juggling every day life). Here's a little bit of what we can expect in the year 2020:

-"Chasing Rabbits" (my 7th novel) is finished, edited, and ready to rock and roll. Despite it's completion, I'm presently sitting on the project, as I'd like to try to query it to the mainstream (instead of self-publishing like I usually do). I don't want to say too much about the novel, but it's unlike anything I've written so far. It's character-driven like my other stories, though completely unrelated to them. And it's a genre that I have never dabbled in before.

-"The Roving Knave" (my 8th book) puts us back on track with the Loners series. If the title is any sort of giveaway, the book follows Dade in his drifter/wandering years on the road (after his face was slashed in The Knaves but before he met Harley in The Loners). It's his dark back story, and is a man versus himself conflict as he struggles to get his head together, following his troubled experiences at the Steel Casino. The book is entirely on paper, and I'm sailing through the edits pretty quick. The book reads very easily and I'm pleased with the narrative and pacing. My target goal is to have it published and ready for purchase by my birthday in late February of 2020. But at the rate I work, there's a good chance we'll see it sooner than that.

-"Knave Shift" (working title) is next in line to be written, and will be a spring/summer project. I still have to sort out all of my ideas, but here's what I know: It will take place after all of the other books in the series, it will catch up with the big name characters (Harley, Dade, Murphy, Mac, etc), it'll also introduce some new faces. It will revisit an old unresolved ever-present setting-- the Steel Casino in its abandoned run-down state (and the demon that dwells within). Lastly, the events of the story will alter the focus of Harley's investigative firm in a new direction... a paranormal one...
