​If you are a newsletter subscriber, I'm sorry for the strange emails you have probably received recently from my blog. I'm working on integrating my blog with my newsletter, and as with most things I try figuring out for the first time, it's glitching. You've probably gotten random old and new blog posts, but this is the most recent post. Watch this one not come through right, though. lol

I'm hoping the glitches are over, but if not, I'll go in and disable this function so you're not continuously bombarded with old blog posts of mine. If this works out, you should only receive an extra one or two emails per month, at most, from the blog. Usually it will be less frequent than that.

Important notice: It looks like some of the pictures and other goodies won't show right in the email version, so be sure to click the read more option to be taken to my blog to read the post as it should be. Also, the email version will be clipped, not the entire blog post, so you will need to come to my blog to see the complete post.

Hopefully, it all works out, and I apologize again for the extra random emails.

​As usual, I'm a little late to the party. I only recently started watching Vikings and The Last Kingdom. I know, I know. What's wrong with me? Thank goodness for Netflix and Amazon Prime so I can see everything I missed. And, of course, now I'm hooked.

But I can't decide who I love more, and I need your help. Ragnar Lothbrok (the Ragnar from Vikings) or Uhtred (from The Last Kingdom)? Yes, I know that Uhtred isn't a Dane by blood, but it seems like deep down he truly is one.

Oh, and don't even get me started on the sons of Ragnar. I may have to do a separate post about them at some point. There's just too much deliciousness not to.

Wait a minute. Why choose? They could be the start of an amazing reverse harem.

As for the shows themselves. I love them both the same, but do you have a favorite?

​All of this gorgeous man-candy has inspired a new book series I'm working on, and no, it's not my reverse harem series. I've wanted to write some sci-fi romances for a while, and what better inspiration for the characters than the vikings on these shows?

Of course, one of the heroes will be modeled after Uhtred and one after Ragnar, with many more to come. The series is tentatively called Intergalactic Raiders, and I am very excited about it. It will be a novel series, but I may also have to add to my erotica short stories with some hot vikings taking the women they desire.

For the first sci-fi romance novel, I need your help!
