Bizarre Tales Updates and Announcements
I don't blog nearly frequently enough; that's because I'm always working on something. In this case, it's been a lot of somethings.
First and foremost, a story I've been wanting to complete for quite some time is now finished and in the hands of proof readers, that story being The Banshee of the Atacama. But as I await their feedback, I haven't been idle.
In the past I've been asked to write articles for the DMR Books Blog, a task I'm always happy to fulfill. Recently, DMR published two new articles, one on collecting the works of A. Merritt (author of The Ship of Ishtar, The Face in the Abyss, et al) and another on the amazing pulp artist, Virgil Finlay--specifically my review of The Collectors' Book of Virgil Finlay, which highlights the pieces by Finlay in the hands of four different collectors. Links to these articles, which are cram-packed full of dazzling photos photoshopped by yours truly, can be found on the Bizarre Tales homepage .
In the realm of art, I have painted a monster for author Gilbert M. Stack for use on the cover of the latest in his Preternatural Series, available from Amazon mid-February. Check out the details of Mr. Stack's new release at the link above, and to view an interesting progress of the monster in the form of images, visit the Bizarre Tales Fantasy Art page; I believe you'll find it of interest.
Finally, as I mentioned, I have not been idle since completing Banshee. I just completed another new story which will be released soon (as soon as I finish painting its cover), titled The Hunter and the Sorcerer. Check out a Sneak Peak of the cover and read the synopsis on the Bizarre Tales Coming Next page.
Until next time...

Bizarre Tales
Weird tales; strange tales; tales with bizarre, unforeseen twists and endings; macabre little tales; encounters and close brushes with mind-warping beings both supernatural and otherworldly.
Should a Weird tales; strange tales; tales with bizarre, unforeseen twists and endings; macabre little tales; encounters and close brushes with mind-warping beings both supernatural and otherworldly.
Should a reader find stories such as these of interest they might enjoy the tales I've made available online. Each is an attempt to construct something unique and enjoyable.
For sure, they will touch on the broader themes we fans of these various genres all love to read and reread; lost cities, magical Jinns, Lovecraftian monsters, the hair raising encounter with something grim, the clash and clang of a sword-fight.
But, also it is the hope of this author that the reader will encounter other things they may or may not have come across before: unexpected twists, memorable characters strange inventions.
Enjoy.
