Inked Magic Review

Whoo Hoo!

My RT magazine just came. Inked Magic got 4 1/2 stars and this by reviewer Page Traynor:

"Overflowing with sensuality, an intriguing story and a great heroine, this is a book you won't be able to put down."

I am totally thrilled (and huge sigh of relief :) especially since I'm now writing the sequel.

Jory Strong Thanks Amanda :) There was no way to tell the full story in one book. I'll be posting an excerpt on my web site soon with a little peek at what Etain, Cathal and Eamon are up to as they work their way toward a true happy-ever-after.

Jory Strong Thanks for taking the time to write the review.

Perception is such an intersting thing, and how much they can differ from reader to reader. When I wrote Inked Magic, I wasn't thinking of it as an erotic romance story--though my agent thought the sex actually overwhelmed the plot. In my mind, I was writing more of a romantic suspense with paranormal and erotic elements, but given the menage aspect it got labeled erotic romance.

I'd actually hoped to get the entire story (including her change to elf and Cathal's whole-hearted acceptance of the situation) in one story. There was just no way to do it, not without rushing the ending to the point it would be totally unbelievable and unsatisfactory.

♂♀♂ Mary's Menage Reviews ♂♂♀ And I am so very glad that you took this decision, Jory.

And I agree because we are all different, loving differently and liking different things, our perception of one story can be different. One would focus on the sex, another on the plot, another on the relationship.

Once I saw that it was not a HEA for the trio, I knew book 2 was coming. No way, an author would leave it that way.

I took an immense pleasure to read you. You are a sure thing in my menage author choices

Thank you for sharing your talent :)
