Praying Your Way Through

When Daniel found out that the document had been signed to send anyone who prayed to any God other than the king to the lions den, he did as he had always done.. He went to his house and kneeled upon his knees and prayed and gave thanks before his God as he had always done. (Daniel 6:10) Daniel shows us that God will fight for us no matter the circumstances or how bad the situation may seem. He teaches us to remain consistent, steadfast and always abounding in the work of the Lord! (1 Corinthians 15:58) Daniel did not have to approach those who had gathered and consulted to come against him. All he had to do was give it to God! Daniel also did not hide or change his approach because of what they had planned and set forth. The word tells us that his windows were open in his chambers toward Jerusalem! He showed no fear. No worry. And no concern! When they saw him praying, he was thrown into the lions den. It was the king who made it official, but it was also the king whose heart God changed! He felt remorse and fasted all night that Daniels God would save him! (Daniel 6:18) Our God has the power to turn the hearts of those who are against you.. toward you! Sometimes the best way to fight is to stay the course, work your strategy, and trust that God has your 6… or in other words, God sees what you cannot, and he will handle it! I believe we have become so used to fighting hard that we no longer know how to fight wise. The word tells us that we fight not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12) This is why we are commanded to STAND therefore with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the word of God. (Ephesians 6:14-17) Praying always with prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching with all perseverance and supplication for ALL saints (not just the perfect ones, but even those with flaws and those dealing with spirits, issues, etc in their lives…) (Ephesians 6:18) When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19) The enemy is ready for us to come out of the gate arms swinging, but he’s not ready for us to come out of the gate with our knees kneeling. It’s time we learn how to TRULY fight in the spirit! #DontStopPraying #KeepTrustingGod
